Welcome to our homepage.
We are a horse-enthusiastic family and had the fortune of being able to make our hobby a profession. On this page we also hope to be able to “feed” you with information as to what goes on behind the “coach excursion” scene.
A majority of our horses have been there from the very beginning, and not only have a permanent place in the stable, but naturally also in our hearts. That’s why this “start page” is also dedicated to our horses.
Since horses are also gourmets, we attach the utmost value to the quality and composition of the fodder. The best quality hay is a matter of course. Abundant green fodder (grasses, leguminous plants, forage herbs) fed to the horses during the summer (freshly cut every day). We do not utilise any artificial fertilisers whatsoever. The vitality and health of our horses is supported up to a ripe old age with the additional provision of essential vitamins, trace elements, etc.
If the weather conditions allow it, we also serve our work colleagues breakfast outdoors.
We’ve attempted as much as possible to provide light and spacious stalls with a high degree of air circulation for the period in the stable.
Moreover, a “wellness corner” has been installed for the physical and emotional well-being of our horses. An infrared radiator and an insolation plant are available there.
In order to also be able to provide optimal grooming in the event of adverse weather conditions, the solar plant has been supplemented with a warm-air shower.
The horse vacuum cleaner has a small massage brush, and the brushed-off elements (hairs, scales, etc.) are collected in a container so that they are not released in the stable again.
Of course, change is good for the “body and soul”: For instance, here on the summer pasture
or a bath in the snow!
|From time to time we visit other stable facilities (especially thoroughbred stud farms) in order to learn from these operations, which work with a very high level of effort (research, vocational training).
By the way: Our horses had an average of 87 working days in 2015.
